Delaware’s online gaming revenue remained strong in August relative to the size of its online market.
The state’s three casinos took in $244,000, up about 50 percent over last year. About $157,000 came from the video lottery, while $58,000 and $29,000 were from the table games and peer-to-peer poker, respectively.
Delaware’s online casinos took in $159,000 in August 2015. In July of this year, the state brought in $281,000 in online gambling revenue following four straight months of new record highs. Revenue from online casino play was a record $305,000 in June.
Delaware Park, Dover Downs and Harrington Raceway are the state’s three online gambling operators. The state has a liquidity sharing deal with Nevada for poker.
Delaware Park led the way in August 2016 with $131,000 in online gaming revenue, followed by Dover Downs with $95,000 and Harrington Raceway with $43,000, according to CardPlayer.com.
