Delaware’s $3 Million for 2016 Sets Online Gambling Record

With revenues of about $3 million, Delaware had its best year for online gambling in 2016. The figure is a 62 percent increase from 2015. Delaware Park was the market leader—three racinos can offer online gambling in the state—with $1.4 million.

While still a small online market, Delaware saw its best year ever for online gaming in 2016 with million, a 62 percent increase over 2015.

A strong December capped the year for the state with gaming win came at $229,987, a 29 percent increase over 2015. Online gaming in Delaware is operated through the state’s three horse racetracks. Dover Downs, Delaware Park, and Harrington Raceway.

Delaware Park brought in $1.4 million for the year while Dover Downs brought in $1 million and Harrington Raceway had $534,000 in revenue.
