Denmark Issues Online Gaming Licenses

The Danish gaming authority Spillemyndigheden has issued gaming licenses to BetConstruct and PopOK gaming as it opens the online gaming market in the country.

The license entitles BetConstruct to offer online casino games, sports betting and live casino products as well as retail solutions for betting shops operating in Denmark.

BetConstruct issued this statement: “Obtaining a license from the Danish Gambling Authority is a sublime advantage for businesses to widen their game offerings, enter a new, less saturated market in Europe and provide safe and engaging services to players.” It added, “Hence, BetConstruct is proud to become one of the first providers to receive this prestigious license.”

The license to the iGaming content developer PopOK will allow it to offer a suite of online games in Denmark. This will include names such as Progressive Jackpot and titles such as Yummy, Hot Bar and Los Apaches.

In a statement PopOK said the Danish market was desirable and “being able to enter the Danish market is a significant milestone for PopOK Gaming and promises to be a huge success,” adding, “We are confident that Danish players will appreciate our offerings’ quality and entertainment value.”
