Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment, an enterprise of the Tohono O’odham Nation in Southern Arizona, has partnered with mobile technology company Joingo to design the Desert Diamond Casinos mobile app, or MY DDC.
The app links up with Desert Diamond’s existing IGT player tracking system, and provides real-time account information for Diamond Rewards members, as well as in-app access to amenities and information for all three of the tribe’s Arizona properties, in Tucson, Sahuarita and Why.
“We are excited to partner with Desert Diamond Casinos to bring mobile into their operations,” said Seamus McGill, Joingo’s president. “With the powerful capabilities in our mobile loyalty and engagement solutions, Desert Diamond is positioned to really capitalize on real-time marketing.”
Desert Diamond Casinos delivers free play, dining offers and promotions to guests’ iOS and Android devices. The app also has geofencing capabilities, allowing it to automate and deliver marketing messages and offers to guests. Diamond Rewards members will have immediate access to points, tier levels, and Reward Dollar balances, in-app ticket purchasing though Star Tickets, restaurant reservations through OpenTable, and social sharing capabilities via Facebook and Twitter.
“The Joingo design team created a striking mobile app for us in very little time,” said Treena Parvello, director of communications for the Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise. “We are especially excited to use geofencing to engage with our guests at the time and place it will be most convenient for them.”
The Desert Diamond Casinos app is available now on the iPhone and Android.
