Digital Gaming Makes U.S. Debut

U.K.-based online gaming content provider Digital Gaming Corporation made its U.S. debut two weeks ago through a partnership with BetMGM, the joint iGaming venture of MGM Resorts International and GVC Holdings.

The licensing agreement between DGC and BetMGM will see the provider’s multi-channel content made available to all of the operator’s New Jersey sites, including Borgata Casino, BetMGM and Party Casino. Titles include hit games 9 Masks of Fire and Ancient Fortunes: Zeus.

“We are thrilled to have strengthened our offering with DGC’s world-class gaming content,” said Matthew Sunderland, vice president of gaming at BetMGM, “bringing our players a wide range of exciting mobile-optimized entertainment experiences which further solidifies our leadership position in gaming in New Jersey.”

Neill Whyte, chief commercial officer of DGC’s B2B iGaming solutions division, told Publishing News that the move into the New Jersey market marks the first major milestone in the company’s U.S. growth strategy, which will include new states as iGaming legalization occurs.

“As we embark on the regulated U.S. iGaming market, we’re delighted to have such an esteemed partner on board from day one,” he said. “Bringing our games to players in New Jersey is just the first of many strategic moves to come, and we look forward to working closely with BetMGM as our ambitious expansion plans play out.”
