Dominican Republic Welcomes Royal Fortunes

National celebrities are generating excitement over the kick-off of Shoutz Inc.'s Royal Fortunes online lottery and games platform in the Dominican Republic. Offerings include those of the government-sponsored Lotería Nacional, the nation's largest and most popular lottery.

Shoutz Inc. recently kicked off its Royal Fortunes online lottery and games platform in the Dominican Republic, including games from the government-sponsored Lotería Nacional, the nation’s largest and most popular lottery. Royal Fortunes is the only platform certified by the government’s Minister of Finance for online sales of lottery products and other games of chance.

Besides buying lottery tickets online and on mobile devices, players who register with Royal Fortunes can add funds for play and claim winnings through their player account at more 17,000 retail locations.

Two of the Dominican Republic’s top celebrities–Jochy Santos, host of the country’s number one rated television and radio programs, and Francisca Lachapel, co-host and reporter for Univision’s Despierta America, Latin America’s top-rated morning show—will support the Royal Fortunes launch and help educate players on its use. In the months to come, Shoutz will introduce instant win and casino games plus integrate the company’s proprietary Grand Rewards loyalty and second-chance platform and award-winning LotteryHUB mobile application.

Frank Rash, chief operating officer at Shoutz, said, “Lottery players in the Dominican Republic are highly engaged, generating over $2.3 billion in annual lottery industry sales. The Royal Fortunes platform complements the country’s adoption of new technologies, which includes a 93 percent penetration rate of smartphones, by providing players with a safe, convenient and fun way to enjoy their favorite games.”

Pena Tavarez, general administrator at Lotería Nacional, added, “We are delighted to work hand-in-hand with Royal Fortunes to provide our players the ability to buy their favorite games on the internet and mobile devices. Our goal is to use the power and reach of the internet so that Lotería Nacional is more accessible and in the hands of more and more players.”

In addition to the Dominican Republic and Sint Maarten, Royal Fortunes has secured lottery licenses and will start operations in several other Latin American countries.
