TMG Consulting has strengthened their efforts with the hiring of Dr. Ashley Brown Burns. Burns brings an extensive background of public policy to the firm, with eight years of experience in social science research, community outreach, strategic communication, and project management.
Burns brings expertise in issues such as poverty, inequality, affordable housing, community development, public affairs and racial and urban politics. Her role at TMG will involve projects for the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority and the Shreveport Regional Airport.
Brown has a Ph.D. and a Master’s from the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University. She has also been the Program Director of DukeEngage New Orleans for nearly a decade, where she has formed partnerships with local nonprofits, businesses, and organizations.
