Dueling Pianos Coming To Beau Rivage

Starting May 24, Coast nightclub at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi will become Ivory's Dueling Piano Bar, open Thursdays through Saturdays. Tim Buie, listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for nonstop marathon piano playing, will lead a rotating cast of musicians and invite audience participation.

Ivory’s Dueling Piano Bar will replace Coast nightclub at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi on May 24, MGM Resorts announced. The new venue will be open at 9:00 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights through the summer. The Coast restaurant will remain open.

MGM Resorts Regional Public Relations Director Mary Cracchiolo Spain said Tim Buie, listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for nonstop marathon piano playing, will lead a rotating cast of musicians, including Brad Heron, Nate Sangsland, Tim Georgeff and Laura Wiley. “These are the best in the business,” Spain said. She noted at Ivory’s, like Pat O’Brien’s in New Orleans, audience members will be invited onstage to sing with the musician.

Beau Rivage Vice President of Marketing Brandon Dardeau added, “Ivory’s will be a great venue to hang out with friends, enjoy a few drinks and listen to great live music by some of the best piano players in the country.”

Admission to Ivory’s will be free. More than 30 craft beers, wine, specialty cocktails and a raw bar will be available.

Triggerproof, the Coast house band, will move to Beau Rivage’s 875 for the summer. Diane Diaz, a former entertainer at Bellagio in Las Vegas, also will continue to perform at 875.

Palace Casino also announced it will feature the dueling pianos of Eugene Eash, Ken Leonard and Zac Fellman, at 8:00 p.m. Saturdays, May 12 through June 23 in Contact Lounge & Sports Bar.
