Duhon Named SugarHouse General Manager

Rush Street Gaming named Cheryl Duhon general manager at its SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia. Duhon was both vice president, general manager at Resorts Casino Hotel and regional vice president of marketing at Resorts Casino Hotel and Bally's Casino Hotel, in Tunica. She returns to Rush Street after an earlier stint at Vicksburg's Riverwalk Casino Hotel.

Duhon Named SugarHouse General Manager

Chicago-based Rush Street Gaming recently named Cheryl Duhon general manager at SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia. Previously Duhon served a dual role as vice president, general manager at Resorts Casino Hotel in Tunica, Mississippi, and regional vice president of marketing for Tunica’s Resorts Casino Hotel and Bally’s Casino Hotel.

Duhon also served as a financial analyst and then director of marketing at Riverwalk Casino Hotel in Vicksburg, Mississippi–Rush Street Gaming’s first U.S. casino development.

In addition, in 2005, Duhon helped open L’Auberge du Lac Hotel & Casino in her hometown of Lake Charles, Louisiana. She then worked at Boomtown Hotel & Casino as a database marketing and financial planning analyst. Before joining the casino industry, Duhon worked as a process engineer and safety compliance specialist for a refining company.

Duhon earned a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and a financial management certificate from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
