The general manager of California Eagle Mountain Casino revealed that the Tule River Tribe will open the newly-built version of the casino, near the Porterville Municipal Airport, the first week of December.
The new version of Eagle Mountain, sitting on 40 acres at a site 17 miles from its current location, will feature more than 1,750 slot machines and 20 table games. The new location will also include a 2,000-seat event center, the River Steak House, a coffee house, a 24-hour diner and a sports bar and grill.
A future phase of construction will add a 125-room hotel and a 20,000-square-foot banquet and conference facility.
The design of the facility will reflect the Tule River Tribe culture and history. HBG Design is the architect for the project.
