EGT Enters Colombian Gaming Market

Euro Games Technology recently started operations in Bogota, Columbia. The Bulgaria-based slot cabinet manufacturer will focus on slot machines and multiplayer solutions, and will provide sales and rental services, technical support and spare parts, said Silviya Marinova, who will manage the new center.

Bulgarian manufacturer Euro Games Technology announced it has opened a trade and service center in Bogota, Colombia. Gaming industry veteran Silviya Marinova, who joined EGT one year ago, will head the operation. ”Most of the local casino operators and players have heard about EGT and are familiar with our products’ excellent results in Central America. EGT’s positive image is actually the real foundation of our office in Colombia that will provide sales and rental services, together with technical support and spare parts,” Marinova said.

The new office primarily will focus on slot machines and multiplayer solutions, Marinova said. She expects the flagship cabinet of the Premier series–the P-24/24 Up and the P-27/27 St Slim—to be among the top sellers in Colombia. They will support EGT’s largest multigame mixes, including the Collection series and the Premier Multi-5 and Multi-6. Both cabinets, which were installed last year at Sun Internationals’ Nao Sun casino in Cartagena.

EGT will supply more than 78 Collection and Premier cabinets plus 50 Classic Premier models to several casinos of Codere in October and November. EGT has been working with the company in Panama and Argentina.

EGT’s STORK terminal will be introduced to the Colombian gaming market in the near future, Marinova said. This multiplayer can be configured with live, automated and virtual roulette wheels, allowing players to bet on all of them simultaneously. STORK offers a multigame mix of video slot games and a 4-level jackpot system, Jackpot Cards.

Marinova said, “We are a company that is constantly enhancing its products and services and presents new and innovative games with outstanding graphics and highly effective mathematical models, as well as more powerful platforms and slot cabinets. I’m confident that we will be able to enrich the local gaming market, pleasing the operators and entertaining both domestic and foreign players.”
