Eilers & Krejcik Gaming to Host Slot Awards Show

Eilers & Krejcik Gaming (EKG) will host the first annual EKG Slot Awards Show at the Bellagio in Las Vegas on February 28.

Produce by EKG, the event is designed to recognize excellence in slot machine game development within the casino gaming industry. EKG will determine winners across 22 different product categories, including both land-based and interactive games. EKG will use a data-driven process combined with a distinguished advisory board to determine award winners.

“We are extremely excited to announce the creation of the EKG Slot Awards and we look forward to hosting the first annual show next month,” said Todd Eilers, principal. “We don’t believe there is currently an awards show in the market that truly focuses on slot machine game development, and we are looking to fill that void.

“In addition to recognizing excellence in slot development, we aim to make this event a fun and entertaining evening for attendees. Over the coming weeks, we will be announcing the nominees for each of the 22 categories, and winners will be announced during the EKG Slot Awards on February 28.”

The EKG Slot Award categories for 2018 were determined by EKG principals, and award winners will be determined by utilizing a data-driven approach to include both proprietary game performance data as well as a survey of qualified slot managers. For awards where proprietary data is not available, the award winner will be solely determined by the survey responses. For the Social Casino segment, winners will be determined by a distinguished panel of social casino industry experts as well as our proprietary Social Casino database.
