Emerald Queen Casino & Hotel (EQC) has announced the appointment of Theresa Minarik as its new chief marketing officer.
Minarik will oversee marketing strategy and execution across the two Emerald Queen Casino properties: EQC Fife and EQC Tacoma.
As CMO, Minarik will focus on elevating the guest experience across digital, traditional and on-property channels. She will lead strategic initiatives in player development, social and paid media, brand storytelling and marketing technology.
Minarik joins Emerald Queen Casino after a stint as marketing director at the Point Casino & Hotel. She also previously worked for Little Creek Casino Resort, having entered the gaming sector in January 2022.
Prior to working in gaming, she managed integrated campaigns for major brands such as Boeing, UPS, AT&T, LEGO and American Girl

Speaking about her appointment, Minarik said she was pleased to be joining the operator at a key time.

Emerald Queen Casino is owned and operated by the Puyallup Tribe of Indians. The EQC Fife site houses over 2,300 slots, 100 hotel rooms and two restaurants. EQC Tacoma has 2,100 slot machines, 60 table games and the Pacific Northwest’s largest sportsbook.
