Gamified digital engagement marketing company Engaged Nation announced that gaming industry veteran Daniel Wood is joining the Las Vegas-based company as vice president of sales. He will be responsible for sales and new business efforts within the tribal gaming sector.
Before joining Engaged Nation, Wood was vice president of business development for Engagex, where he was focused on assisting marketing and player development teams at tribal casinos with phone-based marketing and player engagement strategies, growing revenue by 60 percent year-over-year. Wood had been with Engagex since 2015, advancing within the company from director of business development to VP of sales and customer success.
“I’m delighted to welcome Daniel to our team,” said Engaged Nation CEO Jerry Epstein. “He’s a terrific person with an exceptional track record of helping tribal casinos achieve greater success. Daniel’s experience and skills are exactly what we had in mind when we decided to fill this critical role in not only acquiring new clients but in building long-term relationships.”
“This is an extremely exciting opportunity,” commented Wood. “Engaged Nation has established itself as the casino industry’s premier online-to-on-property gamification experts. I’m looking forward to helping more properties benefit from the measurable financial uplift our system produces.”
