Slot manufacturer Aristocrat Technologies announced that veteran slot game designer Allon Englman will join the company as senior vice president of game development. Englman will lead a studio “focused on creating industry-leading content for the North American market,” according to the company.
Englman will join Aristocrat on October 15 and will be based out of Aristocrat’s new Las Vegas campus. Previously, he was senior vice president and chief design officer at Scientific Games, and prior to that company’s acquisition of slot-maker WMS Gaming, he spent seven years as WMS vice president of game design, the final two as vice president and design chief.
Aristocrat Technologies, a subsidiary of Australia’s Aristocrat Leisure Limited, is licensed in more than 200 jurisdictions, and its products and services are available in more than 90 countries globally. The company offers a range of products and services, including gaming machines and casino management systems.
“At Aristocrat, it’s about what’s inside—of our games, our system solutions, and the company itself. That makes all the difference,” Aristocrat Chief Product Officer Rich Schneider said.
“Allon has a long history of leading teams known for developing highly innovative games that players love to play. We are thrilled to add Allon to our team. His experience and vision mesh perfectly with the Aristocrat (philosophy).”
