Esports Arena Opens at the Rio

The Wall Gaming Lounge, the first esports venue for Caesars Entertainment, is open for business at the off-Strip Rio with state-of-the art gaming, daily cash tournaments and mobile food and drink ordering. At full build-out later this year, the space will cover 24,000 square feet and feature dining from in-house chefs.

Esports Arena Opens at the Rio

Caesars Entertainment has unveiled its first permanent esports venue at Las Vegas’ Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.

The first phase of the 24,000-square-foot facility, titled The Wall Gaming Lounge, features 30 high-performance Alienware gaming PCs, several console gaming stations, a self-serve beverage outlet and mobile food/drink ordering.

Christian Stuart, executive vice president of Gaming and Interactive Entertainment for Caesars, said The Wall “is designed to be highly interactive and enables our guests to enter the space and feel immersed in a highly-visual and dynamic gaming atmosphere. You can compete like an esports professional or spectate in a social, ultramodern atmosphere.”

Developed in partnership with Alienware and Hybrid One, the venue will offer a variety of exclusive daily events and real-money tournaments and daily and hourly competitions for collectible patches and other merchandise.

Located in the Rio’s Masquerade Village area, the venue is expected to be completed in the fall added features that include chef-inspired food offerings and more competitive gaming experiences.
