Evolution Names Chief Product Officer

Evolution Gaming has named former MGM Resorts International executive Todd Haushalter as the company’s new chief product officer.

Evolution Gaming has appointed MGM Resorts International’s Todd Haushalter as its new chief product officer. Haushalter, most recently vice president of gaming operations at MGM, will take up his new role on September 1, the company said.

Prior to his time with MGM, Haushalter spent over two years as vice president of business strategy at Bally Technologies and more than three years with SHFL Entertainment in various directorial roles.

In his earlier career, Haushalter also served as a senior gaming analyst at Wynn Las Vegas for more than four years.

“I’ve worked closely with Evolution before—on the Shuffle Master deal that resulted in side bets being integrated into Evolution’s Live Blackjack, and on other game content,” Haushalter said. “I’m familiar with the company and the Evolution product portfolio and am very excited to be joining up with the world’s leading live casino provider.”

Jens von Bahr, chief executive of Evolution, added, “Todd’s vast experience in the land-based sector, his knowledge, his ideas and his U.S. and global track record are all a perfect fit for Evolution as we move forward, and as many operators focus on convergence.

“He is a top addition to our team, and will be instrumental in driving Evolution product innovation and delivery, and penetrating new markets in the live casino sector.”
