Joingo, Inc., the California-based mobile gaming technology pioneer, announced that it has hired Frank Fahrenkopf Jr., the former president and CEO of the American Gaming Association, as a strategic adviser.
Fahrenkopf, the first head of AGA who retired from the gaming trade organization in 2014 after 19 years, will advise Joingo’s leadership as the technology company gains further inroads into the convergence of mobile technology and casino gaming.
A former chairman of the Republican National Committee and the co-chairman of the Commission on Presidential Debates, Fahrenkopf said there is significant potential for the company.
“Mobile is positioned to make an indelible impact on the casino gaming industry, particularly as the legalization of online wagering is being examined,” Fahrenkopf said.
