FanTeam, a European daily fantasy sports league, seeks investors to expand its marketing efforts, which now are centered on the UK, Russia, Finland, and Norway.
Malta-based Scout owns FanTeam and is licensed to operate in Malta and the UK and announced it is selling shares to anyone interested and on a first-come, first-served basis.
“We are opening up for new investors to further develop and expand our marketing strategy. Furthermore, we are looking to invest in partnerships to continue our growth and strengthen our position as one of the top players in the European DFS-market,” FanTeam CEO Kristoffer Zvickell said.
Scout founded FanTeam after witnessing the initial success of daily fantasy sports leagues in the United States, and FanTeam provides 12 daily fantasy football leagues and two for hockey.
Gaming analysts say the European daily fantasy sports market is underserved, making the move a potentially good one for FanTeam.
FanTeam’s format enables players to create custom tournaments within respective leagues, and FanTeam has exclusive rights to its operating software.
FanTeam also is developing a white-label system and B2B partnership.
