FBM, a manufacturer of slot machines and electronic bingo machines, says it will soon receive certification of its “Asian-inspired” slot machine product, Jin Qián Link.

Pepe Costa, FBM’s manager in the Philippines, told GGRAsia, “We are planning to launch it in Casino Filipino [venues] and likely in a large-scale property in Manila,” home of the Entertainment City casino zone, which hosts the Solaire Resort & Casino, City of Dreams Manila and Okada Manila. Forty-plus smaller gaming halls in locations across the country operate under the Casino Filipino brand. They are run by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (PAGCOR), which also serves as the country’s gaming regulator.

“The Jin Qián Link is really a game developed for the Asian market,” said Costa. “We are still in the final stage of the GLI-approval process. We have had several requests from casinos in the Philippines.”

The multi-game slot, which launched in October 2022, offers four themes in four games: “Lucky Guī.” “Great Bái Hǔ,” “Golden Lóng” and “Eternal Fènghuáng.”

In other company news, FBM saw the debut of its first products in the United States last month at Hialeah Park Casino in Florida. Games included the “Rainbow Falls” and “Catch the Gold” slot games, part of the company’s Easy$Link collection.

FBM casino equipment is also available in Mexico and Spain.

Costa expressed optimism about the post-Covid environment, and told GGRAsia that 2023 started “much stronger.”
“Players are coming back into the venues,” he said. “We’re excited, this year will really be the first to recover towards 2019-levels and better numbers.”

FBM first entered the Philippine market more than 20 years ago. “What started with just a few electronic bingo machines in 2002 turned into more than 32,000 machines in that market,” Costa said.
