Federal Government to Appeal Florida Compact Decision

Interior Secretary Deb Haaland (l.) has notified a federal court that her department will appeal the striking down of a compact drawn up between the state of Florida and the Seminole Tribe that gave the tribe a monopoly on sports betting in Florida.
