Security management expert Douglas Florence has been appointed vice president of strategic operations for eConnect, which provides security and surveillance software for casinos.
With 39 years in the security industry, Florence has worked as at the M Resort in Las Vegas, where he managed the casino’s security, surveillance and risk management department, and was executive director of security at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. He also worked as the director of surveillance at the Mirage.
During his retail career, Florence was employed by Grand Central, Neiman Marcus, Bullock’s, Macy’s and Broadway department stores.
