Florida Scrambles to Replace Seminole Funds

The Seminole Tribe no longer pays the state of Florida its annual revenue share of $350 million due to a dispute over designated card games offered at parimutuels. Now the state is seeking to replace those funds, allowing parimutuels like Gulfstream (l.) to relocate their permits, extend operating hours and increase bet limits, and legalizing sports betting.
