The Rainmaker Group, a leading provider of cloud-based hospitality revenue and profit optimization software, announced that Fontainebleau Miami Beach has selected a comprehensive solution suite, including guestrev, grouprev, revcaster and revintel, to optimize hotel revenue and drive competitive advantage at the 1,504-room property. The agreement expands Rainmaker’s footprint in the luxury hotel and resort market.
Fontainebleau Miami Beach, South Florida’s most iconic resort, hosts thousands of guests each month and is a popular destination for both business and leisure travelers. The property’s management team wanted a comprehensive revenue optimization suite that would allow them to analyze total guest value, streamline group pricing processes and gain an edge on the competition. They also wanted a cloud-based software suite that would offer predictable IT costs and an accelerated return on investment. After an extensive review of vendors and solutions, they selected the Rainmaker suite based on features, functionality and ease of implementation.
“Our property is unique, with a variety of room categories and large group demand,” said Phillip Goldfarb, president and chief operating officer at Fontainebleau Miami Beach. “After a diligent search, we determined that the Rainmaker suite would meet all our revenue optimization goals. We look forward to using the solutions to automate our group pricing process, gain insight into our revenue operation, and make more informed and profit-driven business decisions.”
Fontainebleau Miami Beach has implemented the following revenue and profit optimization solutions from Rainmaker:
• guestrev, an intuitive and easy-to-use revenue management solution that analyzes total guest value across a hotel or casino property to forecast and price rooms;
• grouprev, an innovative group pricing solution that streamlines the process of responding to group RFPs by analyzing historical data, future demand and price sensitivity to recommend the best pricing for group business;
• revcaster, a powerful rate shopping tool that gives hoteliers access to real-time actionable market data, so that rates can be set against the competitive landscape; and,
• revintel, an intuitive business intelligence solution that improves day-to-day revenue management by mining various data sets and providing deep insights at a granular level.
“Fontainebleau Miami Beach is one of the world’s most popular and well-known resorts, and we are thrilled to partner with them to optimize hotel revenue and drive competitive advantage,” said Tammy Farley, president of the Rainmaker Group. “Revenue management technology plays a critical role in ensuring a hotel’s business growth and sustainability, and our solutions offer a complete and integrated package. In selecting our solution suite, Fontainebleau is making a strong commitment to driving guest bookings, outperforming their competitors and increasing profitability.”
In other Rainmaker news, the company announced the closing of its sale of Rainmaker LRO multi-family housing business and product portfolio to RealPage, Inc., a Texas-based provider of software and data analytics to the real estate industry. The sale allows Rainmaker to strengthen its position in the hospitality and gaming industry.
“We have partnered with the hospitality community for more than 20 years, and we look forward to continuing an excellent relationship with the hotel and gaming market,” said Farley. “Our focus now is exclusively on growth and innovation for our hospitality customers. It is an exciting time for our company as we begin this new chapter, and we wish the team at RealPage every success.”
