Former Florida Congressman Connie Mack has joined Sheldon Adelson’s lobbying team pushing for a federal ban on online gambling.
Mack will lobby for Las Vegas Sands Corp. on the proposed ban as well as “federal policy issues related to Internet gaming,” lobbying disclosure records show.
Adelson has personally financed a drive to ban online gambling and a bill has been introduced in Congress to toughen the federal Wire Act to ban internet betting.
