Fortuna Acquires Intralot Subsidiary

Czech bookmaker Fortuna Game has acquired Intralot Czech, a subsidiary of gaming and lottery operator Intralot.

Fortuna Game, which runs fixed-odds betting parlors in the Czech Republic, has completed the acquisition of Intralot Czech, a subsidiary of gaming and lottery operator Intralot.

Fortuna Game is a subsidiary of Fortuna, a Central and Eastern European online betting operator.

Intralot Czech, which owns 2,500 lottery terminals for numerical games and instant games offered by Fortuna, has total assets of around €3.6 million. Intralot Czech’s name will change in line with the purchase agreement.

Fortuna will continue in cooperation with Intralot Czech’s parent company Intralot, primarily in the area of software and application development for the lottery terminals.

“Acquisition of the Intralot Czech branch has been an integral part of restructuring of our lottery project,” said Radim Haluza, CEO of Fortuna Entertainment. “In a short period of time, it will enable us a faster growth of profits and, overall, a more flexible development of our lottery products.”
