Frontier Capital Group’s Hotel Stotsenberg expects to open its new casino, the Fortunegate Clark Casino, before the end of June. The hotel and casino are located in the Philippines’ Clark Freeport Zone.
The casino will focus on mass players and will offer 28 gaming tables, 134 slot machines and a money wheel as well as VIP rooms. Casino General Manager Eduardo Dacanay told local media the property also will include an entertainment venue, a bar and other non-gaming facilities.
The Australian-listed FCG completed a takeover of Hotel Stotsenberg in February 2016 for an investment of AU$26 million (US$18.1 million), reported Inside Asian Gaming. A year later it was forced to close the casino after missing an escrow payment due to the Philippine Gaming and Amusement Corp., the country’s state-run regulator.
