Four Winds Opens Indiana Employment Office

An employment office opened at Union Station in downtown South Bend, Indiana for the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians' Four Winds Casino South Bend. About 1,200 employees are expected to be hired for the casino, scheduled to open in early 2018. Several job fairs also are planned.

As construction continues on the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians’ Four Winds Casino South Bend, the tribe recently opened an employment office at Union Station in downtown South Bend, Indiana. Officials said the office will be the main human resources location for hiring 1,200 workers at the new casino, expected to open in early 2018.

Four Winds Casinos Chief Operating Officer Frank Freedman said, “It’s a central location for anyone interested in learning more about positions available, or to complete an application. We chose Union Station intentionally. It’s a key economic development area in downtown South Bend.”

A series of job fairs also are scheduled on July 28, August 5, September 9 and October 3.

The Pokagon Band currently operates Four Winds casinos in New Buffalo, Hartford and Dowagiac, Michigan.
