Reed Exhibitions, which partners with the American Gaming Association in the G2E Asia trade show, said at a media preview that the trade show’s 2018 edition is expected to draw 17,000 attendees, which would be a 31 percent increase over last year’s show.
Reed Exhibitions Greater China COO Josephine Lee said G2E Asia will draw high-quality trade buyers who pre-registered for the “Privileges Program,” a package of amenities and services targeting senior-level decision-makers. She said 1,800 attendees have already signed up for the enhanced service, which drew a total of 1,600 buyers last year.
The exhibition space at G2E Asia will span 37,000 square meters (398,265 square feet), 32 percent more than that of the previous edition. The exhibition space is already 95 percent sold, according to the Reed.
The trade show will host more than 220 exhibitors, of which around 20 percent are first-time exhibitors, according to the organizers.
Lee also outlined the conference portion of the show, which will feature separate themes on each day—the future of gaming, integrated resorts, and digital content and technology.
