G2E Asia Granted UFI Approval

The G2E Asia trade show has been approved by UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, after an audit of all exhibition related data.

The organizers of the Global Gaming Expo group of trade events announced that G2E Asia, the Macau version of the industry’s largest trade event, has been approved by UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.

To gain UFI approval, G2E Asia underwent a thorough audit by BPA Worldwide Tradeshow Audit Service. As part of the audit, G2E Asia’s attendance figures and other exhibition-related data were all comprehensively reviewed and verified.

UFI approval is much sought-after in the exhibition industry. The credential gives credibility to data recorded on-site by event organizers. In addition to verifying hard facts like area covered, visitors and exhibitors on-site, UFI approval is regarded as a solid indicator of a show’s popularity, service quality and level of internationalism.

G2E Asia is the only UFI-approved gaming event in the region.

“The UFI approval is third-party quality assurance of what we have known since the start: G2E Asia is a regional powerhouse in the gaming industry, where the players, products and presentations that matter gather on an annual basis,” said Josephine Lee, senior vice president of G2E Asia at Reed Exhibitions. “We are delighted with this distinction. It elevates every future edition of the show.”

G2E Asia 2014 will take place May 20-22 at the Venetian Macao.
