G2E Partners With Nevada Hotel And Lodging Association

The American Gaming Association (AGA) and Reed Exhibitions have reached an agreement with the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association to present a Hotel Show at G2E that will include tailored trade show exhibits, educational content, expert presenters and cutting-edge trends

To continue to enhance attendee experiences at Global Gaming Expo (G2E), American Gaming Association (AGA) and Reed Exhibitions—co-hosts of G2E, the premier trade show and conference event for the international gaming industry—announced today that they have aligned with the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association (NHLA) to bring hotel- and lodging-specific content to G2E 2014.

“We recognize that the hotel industry is a critical part of the gaming mix and will continue to be an integral part of the guest experience,” said AGA President and CEO Geoff Freeman. “On behalf of AGA, we welcome NHLA and its members to G2E.”

“G2E has always been an event ‘by the industry and for the industry,’ and the launch of a hotel show within G2E 2014 is a direct response to meet the needs of the diverse gaming industry,” said Mike Johnson, industry vice president at Reed Exhibitions. “We are excited to have Nevada hotel and lodging expertise at our 2014 event—and trust G2E attendees will, too.”

With guidance from NHLA, G2E 2014 will deliver a full spectrum of hotel and lodging content, including education and trade show offerings, to meet the needs of attendees from this important industry sector.

“We are extremely pleased to align with Reed Exhibitions, as well as AGA, as they continue to develop the hotel component for G2E,” said Eric Bello, chairman of the board of NHLA and vice president of sales for Las Vegas Sands Corp. “We have not had a strong hotel services event on the west coast for a number of years and we are pleased that the NHLA will play a role in bringing this dynamic opportunity to the industry. The trade show, exhibits and knowledgeable presenters will provide valuable resources for our members and the hotel industry.”

He added, “Our board of directors, members and staff will be working closely with Reed Exhibitions to ensure innovative technology, hotel amenities, cutting-edge industry trends, current issues and topics will be presented at the show. The show has established itself as not only the world’s premier gaming event but one that brings decision makers from the largest integrated resorts in the world into a unique forum to conduct business.”

G2E 2014 will take place Sept. 29 – Oct. 2 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas. Additional information about the Hotel Show at G2E 2014 will be available in the coming weeks. For more information or to register for G2E 2014 visit www.globalgamingexpo.com.
