Penn National Gaming recently named Mike Galle to the dual position of general manager at both of Boomtown Casino Biloxi and Hollywood Gulf Coast Casino in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Most recently he was general manager at Hollywood Gaming Mahoning Valley in Youngstown, Ohio.
Galle began his casino industry career in surveillance, from 1992-1995. One of Penn National’s longest-serving property team leaders, Galle joined the company in 2005 and has served as director of surveillance, director of slot operations, assistant general manager and vice president of casino operations.
Galle managed the opening of Hollywood Gaming Mahoning Valley as well as its later expansion project. He has delivered on key metrics of EBITDA, customer satisfaction and employee engagement, according to company officials.
Penn National operates more than 20 casino and horse racing facilities in the U.S. and Canada.
