Gamblit Gaming, a leader in the effort to produce skill-based games for casinos, announced that it has partnered with Wicked Witch Software to produce a gambling version of the hit mobile game Catapult King, to be launched next year in both mobile real-money and land-based casinos.
Catapult King has been downloaded more than 27 million times, and featured multiple times by the Apple App Store including Editor’s Choice. “Catapult King: Gamblified” is enhanced with real-money gaming mechanics, and will launch in the U.K. real-money mobile market and on casino floors in 2016.
“I am beyond thrilled to bring Catapult King into the real-money gaming market, for both mobile and land based casinos,” said Darion Lowenstein, chief marketing officer for Gamblit Gaming. “I’ve been a huge fan of Wicked Witch and Catapult King since the day the game came out. Bringing an internationally critically praised and fan-adored hit game to the real-money market not only gives players an experience they know and love, but it also brings an entirely new experience into the casino world.”
“Catapult King is an incredibly fun fantasy puzzle game that resonates with audiences all around the world,” said Wicked Witch Managing Director Daniel Visser, “and we’re very excited to be working with the team at Gamblit to bring our much-loved game to the real-money gaming market. Personally, I can’t wait to see Catapult King on a casino floor. I know that I’d love playing it, and I’m sure other casino-goers will love it too.”
Gamblit Gaming develops and publishes a wide variety of games that bring a casual, arcade sense of fun and skill into the market.
