Game Account Network Signs With Empire City

New York’s Empire City casino will soon offer simulated online poker games designed by Game Account Network.

Game Account Network has entered into an agreement with Empire City Casino to design a gaming website for simulated poker games and regulated cash games. Empire City Casino is owned by the family of Dan Rooney, a former U.S. ambassador.

The gaming company is also discussing future plans with casino operators in other states. It has already partnered with nine casinos, including the Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut. Annual results for its first year as an entity showed sales doubled to £12.3 million and profits before taxes were at £1.6 million.

Game Account Network Chief Executive Dermot Smurfit Jr., said GAN’s focus will remain on the United States, however, the company is in early talks to expand in the Asian market.
