GameAccount network will work with Atlantic City’s Borgata Casino Hotel to implement a social casino platform which will be integrated with the casino’s rewards program.
The agreement also gives GAN the opportunity to service Borgata’s real money Regulated Gaming online website pending regulatory approval, GAN said in a press release.
The Borgata’s planned Simulated Gaming platform will deliver an online social gaming experience integrated with the My Borgata Rewards loyalty program. The social casino can be offered to out-of-state players, while the casino’s real money online casino can only be offered to players physically located in the state.
Under the agreement, Borgata’s real-money gambling would also be integrated with the rewards program through the GameSTACK Internet gaming system deployed on-property in Atlantic City, according to the release. That aspect of the agreement still requires approval by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, the release said.
“GAN’s experience and capability, combined with the power of the Borgata brand, will enable the successful launch of Borgata’s Simulated Gaming online experience,” said Tom Ballance, President and COO of Borgata. “This launch will add another business segment to Borgata’s portfolio and will further diversify Borgata’s varied offerings. We also take great comfort in having GAN’s excellent real money Internet gaming product available to us as needed.”
