Visitors at the 2016 Global Gaming Expo, September 27-29 in Las Vegas, will have the unique opportunity to play the world’s first skill-based video game gambling machine, created by GameCo. The VGM will be offered in Atlantic City later this year.
GameCo Chief Executive Officer Blaine Graboyes said, “Fall is gearing up to be a pivotal time for GameCo, first with the impending launch of our VGM in Atlantic City, as well as our participation at G2E. The debut of our VGM on casino floors will be an historic first step in the evolution of slot gaming, an industry that is adapting for a new generation of players. We are excited to discuss and share our product with the international gaming and casino industry at G2E.”
GameCo’s premier VGM, the Tri-Pod VGM Carousel, will be displayed at the Integrated Resort Experience at G2E. Professional eSports athletes and GameCo executives will demo the game with booth visitors. The VGM also be showcased at the international engineering and manufacturing leader Suzo-Happ, designer and developer of the VGM’s game controller. GameCo’s first game, Danger Arena, will be featured on the video wall of Quixant , premier designer and manufacturer of PC-based computer systems for the global gaming industry. GameCo also will host a private hospitality suite at the Venetian Palazzo on September 28 for prospective buyers and casino operators to learn more about the VGM and the impact of skill-based gaming at casinos.
Later this month, GameCo will debut a demo version of its VGM at Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino’s eSports lounge in Las Vegas—an exact but non-gaming version of the units that will launch at Atlantic City casinos.
The demo-version VGM also will be available when Graboyes speaks at Naruscope’s Esports & Casino Resorts Conference at SLS Las Vegas in October. The conference will focus on practical eSports strategies and tactics that gaming properties can immediately implement.
