Online gaming software developer Gamesys announced the launch of a new real-money poker game with online casino operator Virgin Games. The company says its latest solution is one that offers top-class poker entertainment with a vibrant host-driven community.
The format, called Wild Seat Poker, is Gamesys’ first foray into the real-money online poker. Among other things, the format would reveal a number of hidden prizes when a player is busted from the tournament or wins it. The new game also includes a chat element and chat hosts. The hosts will also be able to play in Wild Seat Poker tournaments, thus offering regular players the chance to try their skills and luck against them.
According to Gamesys, any money won by any of the hosts would be distributed back to players through a special tournament to take place on a weekly basis.
Commenting on his company’s newest product, Simon Mizzi, marketing director of Gamesys Gibraltar, said poker is among those games known for being rich in interaction. However, the official said that aspect has gradually been diminished in favor of financial motivation. Mizzi said Wild Seat Poker is their first step toward offering gambling customers content that is not only aimed at bringing the true essence of the game of poker to life, but also features an environment that is focused on entertaining and engaging Gamesys players.
