Gaming Arts has announced a new partnership with Inspired Entertainment, through which it will adapt the provider’s online slot titles for land-based markets across North and South America.
Content will be available in jurisdictions where slot machines, video lottery terminals, or Class III or Route Operations are legal. Gaming Arts will oversee the porting process.
The arrangement will, however, have some exceptions in North and South America. These include route operations in Illinois and Oregon, as well as non-casino venues in all Canadian provinces, where Inspired already operates.
Details of the Inspired content that will be featured in land-based venues are yet to be announced.
‘Natural Evolution’ for Inspired
Steven Collett, chief product officer at Inspired, talked up the new deal with Gaming Arts. He said the link-up represents a “significant step forward” for the provider.
“This collaboration is a natural evolution of Inspired’s strategy to extend its top-performing content across multiple channels,” Collett said.
“Working with Gaming Arts gives us a trusted partner with deep roots in the North and South America land-based sector, allowing us to extend our reach to players in brick-and-mortar gaming destinations where engagement and experience are everything.”
Gaming Arts CEO Rob Ziems was also optimistic about the deal, billing it as an “important step” for the company. He added: “By adapting Inspired’s proven digital content for land-based play, we’re confident we’ll create exciting new experiences that will engage players and elevate the gaming landscape.
“Together, we are poised to deliver a new era of entertainment.”
