GAN Teams with Borgata, Lady Luck for Social Casino Games

Atlantic City’s Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa will partner with GAN (formerly GameAccount Network) to offer social “simulated gaming” through the casino’s online gambling sites. The system will introduce “free-to-play” social casino games connected to the casino’s rewards program, pending approval by state regulators. GAN also announced a deal with Lady Luck.

GameAccount Network plc has signed a partnership with New Jersey’s with Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa for the launch of Borgata’s Simulated Gaming free-to-play online experience.

Though Borgata operates two real-money online gambling sites—BorgataCasino.com and BorgataPoker.com—players must be physically located in the state to play. The new system will allow out-of-state customers to experience Borgata’s online play, according to a press release.

The feature operates through GAN’s GameSTACK internet gaming system. It will be operated on-site at the casinos and is expected to launch both on the web and mobile devices in the first half of 2016. The system integrates the Borgata’s social online offerings with the casino’s My Borgata Rewards loyalty program, the release said.

Borgata patrons will have the opportunity to instantly receive reward points in the My Borgata Rewards program by purchasing credits for extended online play. GAN’s US-patented iBridge Framework™ will link the GameSTACK internet gaming system to Borgata’s land-based casino management system, the release said.

Simulated Gaming is an internet gaming service designed by GAN specifically for land-based US casinos, offering a gaming-as-entertainment consumer website and mobile apps enabled with unique monetization features such as real-time slot tournaments and an internet gaming content portfolio of over 200 casino slot, table and skill-based games, including poker, backgammon, gin rummy, poker dice and blackjack tournaments.

“GAN’s experience and capability will enable the integration of our My Borgata Rewards with GAN’s product enabling Borgata to offer a much more compelling and attractive social gaming product than the competition,” said Tom Balance, president and COO of Borgata. “The power of the Borgata brand has allowed us to establish ourselves as the leading online gaming operator in New Jersey, and we are equally optimistic that Borgata will enjoy similar success with our social gaming product.”

The system still needs approval from state regulators.

GAN also announced that Lady Luck, a subsidiary of Isle of Capri Casinos, has agreed to use GAN’s Simulated Gaming social casino software to offer players more than 200 slot, table and skill-based games free on the Lady Luck website.

Lady Luck’s Simulated Gaming offering will go live across web and mobile in the first half of 2016, the company said. Skill-based games will include poker, backgammon, gin rummy, poker dice and tournament blackjack.
