Ganlot Expands Into South America

Ganlot, which builds slot machines, VLTs and server-based games, is expanding its product line. It also plans to make inroads into the South American market.

Taiwan-based slot machine, VLT, and server-based game manufacturer Ganlot announced last week that it will be expanding its business into South America, but will exhibit its product line first at G2E in Las Vegas September 27-29, showcasing its Smart Casino Concept technology, which will integrate the internet of things (IoT) into casinos.

The company’s Senior Director Oliver Chuang told Yogonet last week that the company “adopts different strategies” to suit the different regions it seeks to penetrate.

She added, “At this moment, Ganlot is planning to bring eye-catching effect to the audience at G2E,” and “keeps developing software and protocol” standards in order to meet clients’ ‘special requirements.’ ”

She said the company’s products would range “From SAS/G2S and other jurisdiction protocol, to peripherals protocol for bill accepter TITO and card readers, even to customized firmware as well as special security design for anti-hacking game or hardware.”

Regarding the company’s expansion into South America, Chuang said, “We make the most of the Brazilian branch of our mother company Portwell regarding services such as taxation, language, production and logistic,” she explained adding the Las Vegas event will provide Ganlot with a unique opportunity to gain ground in both “the North and South American markets.”
