India-based PureSoftware wants a larger presence in gaming, and has brought on respected industry veteran Gavin Isaacs, currently chairman of betting solutions provider SBTech, to help show the way.

PureSoftware boasts various “next generation disruptive technologies,” primarily in the field of financial platforms, including digital banking and digital wallets. But founder Anil Baid said the company’s focus is increasingly shifting toward enhancing its services portfolio for gaming operators and suppliers.

Isaacs said PureSoftware has “years of capabilities in providing robust and innovative gaming solutions” and “creating great value for money.”

Isaacs currently is chairman of SBTech, a sports betting technology company. SBTech is slated to be acquired by DraftKings, and Isaacs said he expects to serve on DraftKings’ expanded board when the DFS giant goes public. He is also a director of table games provider Galaxy Gaming.

Long one of the most respected executives in the slot machine and game development sectors, over a three-decade career Isaacs rose through the executive ranks of Australian machine gaming giant Aristocrat and then joined Bally Technologies in a leadership role.

He later served as CEO of Shuffle Master, which he rebranded SHFL Entertainment, and was in the forefront of a wave of consolidation on the machine gaming side in the last decade that saw Bally acquire SHFL and get acquired itself by lottery and gaming tech giant Scientific Games, which also owns WMS. He served four years as CEO and vice chairman of Scientific Games.
