GeoComply announced last week that it’s strengthened its management team with the promotion of Lindsay Slader to the position of managing director of gaming where she will be responsible for the success of GeoComply’s gaming business in the U.S. and worldwide.
In addition, gaming industry veteran Chad Kornett has joined GeoComply as vice president of global government relations. According to a company statement, these changes will “support the exponential growth of GeoComply’s core business as well as its expansion into international markets.”
Slader has been a key member of GeoComply’s management team since its inception in 2011. Her knowledge and expertise has made her a much requested speaker at iGaming, sports betting and regulatory conferences, as well as serving as an expert witness for state and federal government hearings. Her leadership has been instrumental in making GeoComply the trusted provider of geolocation and compliance solutions for the iGaming industry.
Kornett joins GeoComply after over 16 years at Gaming Laboratories International, where he most recently served as senior director of engineering. Kornett brings to the company a deep knowledge of the sector and well established relationships with operators, platform providers, and regulators worldwide.
“The growth of GeoComply over the past 10 years has been nothing short of amazing and I am very excited to be leading the company’s gaming business as it expands internationally,” said Slader. “And I’m so happy to welcome Chad to the GeoComply team as our history goes back to my days at GLI where his expertise and professionalism had always been impressive. Chad will play a pivotal role in the company as we continue to grow our core gaming business in the U.S. and move rapidly into new markets.”
“I feel incredibly fortunate to join the GeoComply team at this pivotal time in its history,” said Kornett. “The demand for location technology to achieve compliance and expose fraud and other security risks is increasing on a global scale. GeoComply’s unique expertise and technology will have tremendous impact not only in gaming, but any industry where authenticating a true digital identity is important.”
Founded in 2011, GeoComply quickly became the iGaming industry’s trusted solution for reliable, secure and accurate geolocation services. GeoComply currently supports regulated online casino, poker, sports betting, lottery, ADW and DFS operators in 45 U.S. states to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
