A recent report indicated gaming taxes don't provide states with long-term revenue, but Georgia lawmakers still promote legalizing casinos and horseracing. State Rep. Ron Stephens (l.) has introduced legislation allowing up to three casinos in the state, and the Georgia Horse Racing Coalition plans to promote a bill allowing a $500 million horseracing facility.
