German State Begins iGaming Table Tender

Germany’s most populous state, Nordrhein-Westfalen, has opened a tender process for online table banker games.

On July 1, the Glücksspielneuregulierungstaatsvertrag (GlüNeuRStV), or Fourth State Treaty on Gambling, was established to license slots and poker games, but non-poker table games, both through RNGs and with live dealers, were not covered. As a result, the states will grant the concessions.

Licenses for up to five non-poker table games will be issued in Nordrhein-Westfalen. They will be valid for 10 years.
