Frank Fantini was a newspaper journalist in Delaware in the 1990s when he parlayed his love for writing, investing and his growing knowledge of the gaming industry into a business. Fantini took that knowledge and began publishing a daily newsletter, Fantini’s Gaming Report, that soon became a staple for Wall Street investors who wanted to know the best companies to back in this growing industry. Over the years, Fantini earned the respect of presidents and CEOs of the industry who picked up the phone when he called and later sat down for short interviews during his annual visit to the industry’s largest trade show and conference, G2E. Today, Fantini has sold his company to the information powerhouse Eilers & Krejcik Gaming but continues his influential column every week in GGB News and every month in GGB Magazine. He spoke with GGB Publisher Roger Gros during a break at the East Coast Gaming Congress at the Hard Rock Atlantic City in April.
