It may not seem like it on the surface, but technology standards have played a pivotal role in the expansion of gaming as we know it. Perhaps no organization has worked harder to unite engineers, industry leaders, regulators and politicians than the International Gaming Standards Association, headed by President Mark Pace. Pace has been with the IGSA since its earliest days, and is primed to lead the group across the world and across the industry. He spoke with GGB Managing Editor Jess Marquez via Zoom in August.
