GGB PODCAST: Paul Heretakis, Principal, Westar Architects

This week we sit down with Paul Heretakis (l.), the principal of Westar Architects, one of the leading design firms for the gaming industry, to talk about some of Westar’s recent work in the U.S. and around the world.

Westar Architects has established itself as one of the premier design firms for the gaming industry.  Led by Paul Heretakis, the company has become known for its innovative style and its ability to understand where the industry is going before it happens. Their most recent project done for Churchill Downs, Derby City Casino in Louisville, is part of a revitalization of the downtown area and includes restaurants, gaming and entertainment. Heretakis also designed the high-roller suites in the recently opened Fontainebleau casino in Las Vegas, which have gotten rave reviews. He also talks about the company’s extensive experience in Asia, particularly in Macau. Heretakis spoke with GGB Publisher Roger Gros in his office in Las Vegas in April.
