Four years ago, Dr. Bill Eadington begrudgingly relinquished control over the conference he founded in the early 1970s, the International Conference on Gambling and Risk Taking. Held every three years, Eadington has been in failing health for several years and wanted to secure the future of the conference, so he turned the reigns over to Bo Bernhard, the executive director of UNLV’s International Gaming Institute. Eadington died in 2013 before the last edition was held. This podcast was recorded at UNLV’s Stan Fulton Building with the founder and the current producer of the conference in 2012 by GGB Publisher Roger Gros, Chris Sieroty, then with the Las Vegas Review Journal, and Ron Sylvester then with the Las Vegas Sun.
