The American Gaming Association’s Global Gaming Women program announced that it will award 15 scholarships at this year’s MGM Women’s Leadership Development Conference, which will be held August 7-8 at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
This annual conference, presented by the MGM Resorts Foundation, is the nation’s forum to promote women’s personal and professional development and advancement. The purpose of the conference is to inspire women to seek their highest level of personal and professional growth.
The Global Gaming Women Charitable Education Fund provides educational opportunities to women pursuing a career in gaming, and every year GGW offers assistance to attend MGM’s Women’s Leadership Conference to women employed privately in the gaming industry or by government agencies responsible for its regulation.
The award will cover the registration cost of the two-day conference. It does not include any related travel expenses that may be required.
Each scholarship covers all conference attendance and program fees. Any required travel, lodging and/or other expenses are the responsibility of each scholarship recipient. To be considered, completed applications must be received no later than June 16. All scholarship recipients will be notified via email by June 30.
