GGW Pay It Forward Winners Announced

Global Gaming Women have announced winners for the Pay It Forward Awards that honor women who have prominently given back to help in the development and advancement of women, the organization and their community. The awards, named in honor of trailblazing executive Patricia Becker (l.), will be presented October 16 at the Encore Beach Club at the Wynn Las Vegas.

Global Gaming Women last week announced winners of the 2019 Patricia Becker Pay It Forward Awards, which will be conferred at the organization’s Kick Up Your Heels annual fundraiser, October 16 at the Encore Beach Club at the Wynn Las Vegas.

The annual award is named for Patricia Becker, GGW’s vice chairman and Education co-chairman and president of Becker and Associates. It honors women who have prominently given back to help in the development and advancement of women, the organization and their community.

This year’s winners are: Deanne (Dee Dee) McKissick, vice president, Aristocrat Technologies; Karla Perez, Vice President-Head of Gaming, Sysco Corporation; Jennifer Roberts, Associate Director of the International Center for Gaming Regulation; Meaghan Ryan, Vice President of Talent & Team Member Relations, Seminole Hard Rock; Randi Kolesar Topham, Executive Director of Marketing, Scientific Games; Suzanne Trout, Chief Marketing Officer, Foxwoods Resort Casino; Emily Wofford, Owner and Partner, The Publicity Lab.

GGW plans to present a series of informative panels on leadership at the upcoming Global Gaming Expo (G2E.) For the first time GGW’s educational track is fully part of G2E’s Educational Track programming.

Programming Committee Co-Chairman Cassie Stratford commented, “We are thrilled to present a diverse roster of leaders and experts to speak to G2E attendees. Education is a vital pillar of our work at Global Gaming Women, and we are excited to continue that mission at G2E, with four unique panels that will help inspire attendees – women and men – to find the courage to lead.”

A sampling of the panels include “Powerful Women Affecting Powerful Change,” “How Did You Do That and Why Not? How to Get out of Your own Way,” “Switch: How to Change Things When Change Is Hard” and “Breaking Out of Your Lane: People Who’ve Proven Everything is Possible.”
